According to the news on the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on December 3, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for Industrial Green Development". The iron and steel industry implement technical and equipment transformations as a  plan proposes,such as fine desulfurization for coke oven gas, high-proportion pellet smelting, coking negative pressure distillation, and optimization of the entire coking process. In 2025,  It will complete the ultra-low emission transformation of 530 million tons of steel production capacity , the clean production transformation of 460 million tons of coking capacity.

In der Nicht--Metallindustrie die Implementierung hoch-effizienter Auflösungs- und Rotschlamm-Reduktionstechnologie in der Tonerdeindustrie, Kurz-schmelzverfahren und kontinuierliches Schmelzen in der Kupferschmelzindustrie, hocheffiziente saubere Elektrolyse und Sauerstoffdrucklaugung in der Zinkschmelzindustrie und vertikale Magnesiumreduktion in der Magnesiumschmelzindustrie und andere Technologien und Ausrüstungstransformation. Bis 2025 wird die Umstellung der sauberen Produktion für 4,000 Öfen für Nichteisenmetalle abgeschlossen sein
